Born and raised in Miami, Florida Mr. Seff found his way out to Colorado about eight years ago and credits the innovative spirit that can be found here as a major influence and motivator in his pursuits. When I asked how he felt Denver has contributed to his visionary endeavors he replied “There are lots of creative, talented, supportive people here that consistently remind us that it’s possible for crazy ideas to work. On that some note, it pumped me full of drugs and encouraged all of my more profitable, reliable opportunities to move on without me. I don’t know what the diplomatic answer is.”

Ballroom & The Other Side in Denver, CO struggled to come up with ways of staying afloat while engaging our lifelong patrons. Knowing that Colorado hosts an abundance of uber-talented graphic designers, we launched a design contest with cash prizes for new Cervantes’ merchandise designs. We wanted to engage the local artist community and find out what Cervantes’ means to them and see how they would translate that into their own artwork.

The disco ball in the Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom gleamed its light on many showgoers on a Wednesday night once again. Abelton software extraordinaire, Mr. Bill, along with Ill Gates, has formed a legendary duo named Mr. Bill Gates. To celebrate, they're playing a "Party Like It's Windows 95" Tour, initially scheduled in four states. Before stopping in for Denver’s final RE:Search Wednesday of the year, they kicked off the tour at Terminal West in Atlanta, Georgia.
