Another successful RE:Search Wednesday at Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom, featuring incredible artists; Jordan Polovina, Untitled B2B Vibe, Toadface, and Mystic Grizzly. According to photographer, Reed Moskal, this neat venue was unusually full at such an early time. But it seemed the infamous resident artist, Jordan Polovina, drew a great crowd with his wide range of skills. His performance showed him to be a modern renaissance man through singing, rapping, beat boxing, and his eccentric cello. Polovina’s electric cello radiated emotion through the crowd and set a mellow vibe to preface a night of heavy bass.

Next on set was Untiled B2B Vibe, an energetic duo who met on SoundCloud and traveled all the way from Maryland. As their first time performing at Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom, they brought extraordinary enthusiasm to the crowd and did not short change Denver with their hefty bass.

Besides the musical artists of the night, RE:Search also featured several talented performance painters and crafters. One unique creator, Jessica McMillan, was painting a geometric inspired honey bee piece with exquisite colors. If you want to see her finished painting from Wednesday night, Jessica’s art can be found on Instagram and Facebook at Jessica McMillan Art.

Following Untiled B2B Vibe, Toadface hit the stage hard with his bold style of bass. At times during his performance, Toadface’s music felt like sitting within an amplified drum circle, beaming power into the crowd. His set definitely encouraged some well deserved fist pumping.

Lastly, Mystic Grizzly, also known as Jordan, awaited his turn on stage, standing at the stairs with headphones in hand. Mystic Grizzly humbly finished up RE:Search Wednesday with  haunting like sounds and guided his listeners through a flowing experience. “Mystic” describes Jordan’s mixes flawlessly, as his music felt other worldly and foreign.

Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom was filled with outstanding music and art, genuine people, and great drinks. Be sure to join RE:Search Wednesday tonight at Cervantes’ Other Side to catch 5AM Trio, MALAKAI, and LuSID (The Rust Showcase).
