Future Joy Looks Ahead With A New Tour, New Band Mate, And An International Performance

2019 was a year of great length, obstacles, and growth for many individuals, including Denver's, Future Joy. After a decade of hard work, brand development, late nights in the studio, 30+ gigs across the country, rotating band members, and an overall dedication to his craft, it seems 2020 will be the year for Zachary Simms [Future Joy] that rockets him into the future and brings us all even more joy. The grind is paying off and this super-funky, super-saxxy artist is set to reap the reward from all that time and energy put in. With new band member; Emily Cooper, new tour dates in store, and new music, Future Joy is ready to take the new decade by storm. Here's what you can expect.

Most recently, you may have seen the now duo bring some heat to their home crowd at Cervantes Other Side where they closed out the end of their decade. Playing alongside Cooper (Vocals/DJ), Future Joy provided a supporting set to remember before fellow Potent Productions artist, MIDIcinal, who was highlighted with a full live band for his first headline set. Yes, Simms and Cooper were welcomed to play along for that set but not before showing Denver what they're capable of together. The two together dropped jaws and brought Cervantes to its knees with their electro-swing vibe.

Parent company, Potent Productions, has been on a come up themselves moving into the new decade. The Potent team and Future Joy have a ton going on, starting as soon as this week with a full "Potent takeover" at Shady Park in Tempe, Arizona. Simms and Cooper will join a potent cast indeed, with the likes of MIDIcinal, AVRY, and Dozier, plus a couple of others. Wrapped around that performance, Future Joy is set to play Friday the 17th in Montrose, CO as well. Not a bad way to start the year. Then in February, Future Joy takes their act to the international scale, where they'll perform at Eternal Sun 2020 Vision in San Ignacio, Belize. They follow that by going on tour this Summer.
