Streaming from Colorado Sound Studios on December 31 from 9:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. MST, fans, friends and family can tune in for ARISE Online and couch surf their way to the new year with concert-quality performances, newly released music, exclusive interviews, live painting, poetry, interactive chats and even more to be announced soon. ARISE Online will premiere on Facebook and YouTube as a free, streaming celebration headlined by music producers Amani Friend and Treavor Moontribe of Desert Dwellers and recently streamed performances by Magic Beans, Spectacle, Melody Lines and live painter Laura McGowan.

Colorado Live Events Industry to Participate in #WeMakeEvents #RedAlertRESTART On Tuesday, September 1st, 2020

Denver, CO – On September 1st, 2020 from 9 PM – 12 AM MT, venues, buildings, structures, and residences across Colorado will be lit in red as part of #WeMakeEvents, #RedAlertRESTART, and #ExtendPUA’s national call to action, imploring the US Congress to pass the RESTART Act (S.3814) as quickly as possible. The RESTART Act would offer economic relief to the Live Events Industry, which has been shuttered since March, 2020, putting millions of people out of work. Additionally, the movement is to support ExtendPUA.org in their efforts towards continuation and extension of the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance to provide relief to those without work due to COVID-19.

I think it started in Germany, who probably executed it way better than us, but drive-in concerts are hitting the US front in a big way and as far as we’re concerned, they need to be here to stay. Names like Brad Paisley, Garth Brooks, The Chainsmokers, Black Jacket Symphony, Keith Urban, Marc Rebillet, The Avett Brothers, Blake Shelton, and now after last night, Colorado’s own, Dirt Monkey and SoDown have all either rocked a socially distant Drive-In concert or are scheduled to in the upcoming weeks.
