Re:Visit - The Magician, Lea Luna, And More!
Belgian DJ, The Magician kicked off his US fall tour at Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom this past RE:Search Wednesday.
Opening up the show, the trio: Jordin Polovina, Jessa Reskin, and Mikey Thunder, who are no strangers to Cervantes stage, spread their collaborative modern flow across the audience which was small at the time, due to the snow, but would eventually fill in more as Coloradan’s don’t let weather hold them back!
As The Magician prepared to take center stage, arms raised to the house blends of DJ Lea Luna. Her set was a refreshing blend of house music with a tinge of hip-hop and soul influence. Also, a Denver native, DJ Lea Luna, integrates mainstream and underground tracks to create an all-encompassing flavor of her own.
Lastly, The Magician hit the stage, kicking off his fall US tour with gusto! Some people knew The Magician from his part in the famous duo Aeroplane, before going solo in 2010. His big break came in 2014 with his song “Sunlight”, propelling him to the stage of the MTV Europe Music Awards.
The Magician hypnotized Cervantes Ballroom, with an imaginative blend of house, pop, and soul. It has been said he is capable of racking up even the worst of the underground music world and turning them into dance parties. His knack for creativity has earn him an impressive following in Denver. After his set Magician posed with his fans for a photo, which was later posted on Instagram.
